Who owns Duel casino?
On paper, Immortal Snail LLC owns and operates Duel.com. In practice, the man behind it is its founder, Ossi Ketola. Ketola says he owns his casinos outright. That can’t be checked against a public record: the companies around him are registered in Nevis and Curaçao, and neither publishes accounts.
So there are two honest answers to “who owns Duel”. The legal one is a Nevis LLC with a registration number you can quote. The practical one is a single founder who is very easy to find, because he streams most of what he does. Older help pages on docs.duel.win still name an earlier operator, Duelana Games B.V. in Curaçao. The current terms on duel.com name only Immortal Snail LLC.
Ossi Ketola, the founder

Ketola is a Finnish gambling entrepreneur, born in 1997 in Vammala, now part of Sastamala. Duel is his second business. The first, CSGOEmpire, is a Counter-Strike skin-gambling site he built in early 2016, run through Moonrail Limited B.V. in Curaçao. He launched Duel.com in July 2025.
He is also Duel’s main advert. As “Monarch” he plays high-stakes heads-up poker on camera: he won the largest pot ever broadcast ($12.7 million, September 2025), lost about $15 million to Dan “Jungleman” Cates, and in September 2026 beat Patrik Antonius in a $10 million-a-side match. He has dealt blackjack on Duel’s live table himself and booked himself onto his own fight card.
How much he is worth, how he made it and what he has said on the record is on his full profile: Ossi Ketola, net worth, poker and Duel.
Is Patrik Antonius an owner of Duel?
Patrik Antonius is publicly associated with Duel as a partner, but we have found no public document that names him as an owner or shareholder. The Finnish poker legend is the best-known name around the brand, especially in Finland. Triton named Duel the official sponsor of its Jeju and North Cyprus festivals, with “Duel Heads Up” matches written into the deal, and Antonius played Ketola in one of them on 11 September 2026. He lost $10 million.
Who owns Duel: Arena?

Duel: Arena is Duel’s own fight-night promotion. Duel put it on rather than sponsoring someone else’s event. The first card, Duel: Arena 1, ran on 29 August 2026 at the Kia Center in Orlando. One detail matters for anyone asking who stands behind it: the Florida permit was not held by Duel.com. It was held by Ryan Toole Inc., trading as Duel Arena, because a crypto casino cannot hold a Florida licence.
The founder booked himself onto that card against Patrick Holden, and the bout was never contested. What happened to the founder’s fight is a story of its own. A second event has not been dated yet. What is known about it is on our Duel: Arena 2 page.
Not to be confused with Duel Arena PvP, the tab on duel.com where you play other people one-on-one for money. Same name, different product, same owner.
Where is Duel casino located?
Duel’s operating company is registered in Charlestown, Nevis, and its gaming licence comes from Anjouan in the Comoros. We haven’t found an office address beyond the registered one, and the founder’s permanent residence isn’t confirmed. He no longer lives permanently in Finland, according to Finnish tax reporting.
For a player, the location that matters is the licence. Anjouan is an offshore jurisdiction outside the EEA. That means no local regulator stands behind your account, and the terms send disputes to arbitration in Anjouan, with the English version of the terms taking priority. It can also affect how your winnings are taxed: Finnish players, see Onko Duel verovapaa?
Does the ownership make Duel safe?
The ownership tells you who to hold responsible, not whether you will be paid. For that, the best evidence is withdrawals. Here is how both sides add up.
A named operator with a registration number and a licence number, printed on every page of duel.com. A founder who appears on camera rather than hiding behind a shell. And one figure an outsider can measure: because crypto deposits move on public blockchains, the on-chain tracker Tanzanite counted $1.66 billion in deposits in Duel’s first twelve months (reported by the analytics firm Blask).
Between April and October 2026 we made more than ten withdrawals from Duel, from $56 to $4,686, and none of them asked for documents. On 1 October 2026 we requested $701.07 in USDT at 17:27 and had 696.62 USDT in our wallet at 17:28. How that works is on our deposits and withdrawals page, and every test is in our Duel review.
No published or audited accounts for any of Ketola’s companies. Ketola has said Duel makes roughly $10 million a month, but that is his own figure, from an AMA in August 2026, and it can’t be checked. And an offshore licence gives you no local player protection.

Why opinions on the owner are mixed
Ketola is a controversial figure, and these are documented events rather than rumours. In short:
- In March 2024 he organised and paid for a stage invasion at the PGL Counter-Strike Major in Copenhagen. PGL said it would press charges, and CSGOEmpire apologised.
- In November 2023 Sweden’s regulator Spelinspektionen barred CSGOEmpire from Sweden for marketing to Swedish players without a Swedish licence.
- In October 2025 X suspended his personal account and both company accounts. They are still gone.
- In September 2026 the Finnish national press covered his appearance at a far-right rally in Helsinki and his remarks about race.
None of this is about whether Duel pays out. It is about who you are trusting with your deposit. The details and sources are on his profile.
